Ideas are a dime a dozen, the real thing that makes small business ownership a thrill is the passion for doing something that's fun, worth doing, or just down right never been done. Passion isn't the only success ingredient, but without is all you've got is a really hard job.

I appreciate Jake's business story...but how do we make it easier for small businesses to take teh first step? Where do you start...your company name, your brand identity, trademarking or making sure your product has a patent? Do you use a lawyer...or use the internet to LLC your company. It would be great to get more details here to small businesses that want more than just the marketing side of business start up.
