Why can birds fly so easily, while we have to dump millions into developing fiendishly complicated helicopters? Why do spiderwebs trump any cable suspension system we've ever devised? "
How is it that geckos get up walls so easily, and we have to rig window washers up with these enormous contraptions? (core77)
